Should I give my child flower
essences? I have to respond with a resounding YES! I started giving my three
teens flower essences about a year ago. Since that time I've seen remarkable
changes. I'll highlight a couple of things that I've noticed over the past
year. My 18 year old son has always been open, sensitive and caring, yet
indecisive and a complete procrastinator. These late qualities seemed to have
dissolved, and he is even more open, sensitive and caring than ever after
taking Fleuressences.
My second son, now nearly 17, was
surprisingly close-minded, and preferred his own company to others. Although
exceptionally bright, he preferred not to work to his potential. He now quietly
points out to me when I am being closed minded or judgmental, and is also much
more socially interactive with his peers. He has become a model student, with
straight A's. He has even started his own business. Although continuing to work
on his people skills, he handles his adult clients well. Other people, both
inside and outside of the family, have also commented on how much he has
matured over the past year.
As teens, both boys were easy to
raise compared to my daughter, now 14. She had just started the "push, pull"
stage of finding her own identity when I decided to give her flower essences.
What a relief! We rarely have any of the little not-picky problems that other
mothers/daughters have. To sum it up in one word, it would be SMOOTH! Our
relationship has become as smooth as butter on warm toast.
Another concrete example of how the
flower essences have helped my daughter involves an unexpected tragedy which
struck our tiny community. One of my daughter's friends died in a horrible
snowmobile/truck accident. Along with her regular personal formula, I gave Kim
extra Emergency Care and the combination essence One. I was very proud of the
way in which she handled the loss herself, but even prouder t see how she
interacted with others. Throughout the ensuing week and funeral, she was a
surprising source of strength and support for her surviving friends.
I am wholeheartedly convinced that
the flower essences are responsible for these transformations. My only regret
is that flower essences weren't available to me when my children were
infants.
